This is my favorite lechon kawali spot. They cut it up so that it's bite-sized, and NOBODY else does this! Every piece is perfect.
The other food items- all deliciously perfect. I think we've tried nearly everything on the menu, and haven't been disappointed. On the weekends, they do a breakfast buffet that's almost as good as my mom's weekend breakfast buffet. -

When the craving for a kamayan meal is real, Ongpin is the real deal. For ~$20 with tax and tip included you can enjoy yourself a delicious and filling Filipino kamayan (eat with your hands) meal.
Ongpin has an extensive menu for seafood, pork, beef, etc. along with their Kamayan meal options. The Kamayan options range from 2+ people and each option comes with sooo much food. This visit we ended up getting the option for 4 people with a side of sisig. When we ordered the staff asked if we wanted to enjoy our meal on banana leaves or on plates so I loved how they gave us the option. Not having kamayan in like 3+ years we of course had to get the banana leaves.
The option for 4 people came with 4 cups of steamed rice, 1 crispy pata, 1 squid, 1 tilapia, side of tocino chicken, lumpia, salted eggs, mango slices, tomatoes, and onions. They paired the items with mang tomas for crispy pata, soy sauce/vinegar for the fish, and sweet/sour sauce for lumpia. All items were tasty and filled our cravings. We even had a box leftover to eat for later so that's how much food there was even for 4 people.
Faves were the crispy pata, squid, and tilapia.
OK were the tocino chicken, lumpia, and sisig (not sizzling).
Staff here is friendly and pretty hands off once they deliver the food to your table. They may take a while to get to your table. Ongpin does well with their space and can accommodate large groups by moving the tables around. They have a parking lot with a couple spaces as well. -

Idk why would they sell bad food. My in law ordered 3 orders of sisig. once it arrived in brentwood an hour later we have to throw out everything because the onions and jalapenos were bad. We wasted money on food that ended up being in garbage. No wonder our visitors didnt eat it. This was not the first time that it happened. Do not store chopped up onions and jalapenos because they go bad!

Fabulous little resto that serves authentic Phillipino cuisine. Decent sized dining area perfect for eating alone, with a few or for large groups. Regular entrée dishes and desserts or you can experience the Kamayan feast, (delicious food served on banana leaves no utensils), which we had. Tasty Bangus fish, lumpia, veggies, white rice, crispy pork belly, juicy Mango chunks, BBQ chicken and a half a dozen different sauces to accentuate our meal. Very reasonably priced.. Highly recommend this great place to eat!

This was my time here and it was AMAZING!! Jhoy and Vivian were just wonderful and delightful. Jhoy has great recommendations for food choices, I ended up getting the Kara-Kara and I LOOOOOVED IT!!! The rice noodle soup was the perfect starter. Turns out they only serve it on Tuesdays so today was my luck day. I'll most definitely be back again :0)
